Getting to GMF Summer Sessions
from within Gibraltar
GMF Summer Sessions takes place at Europa Point on 3, 4 and 5 September 2026. If you’re residents in Gibraltar, there are several convenient ways to get to and from the festival.
Festival coach service⌄
A dedicated festival coach service will operate on all three days. Coaches will depart from Midtown Coach Park before the festival begins and will return passengers to Midtown after the event finishes each evening. Further information, departure times and tickets for the coach service will be available through BuyTickets.gi.

The Gibraltar Bus Company will operate an extended public bus service during the festival. You can travel to Europa Point using Route 2.

Europa Point is approximately a 45-minute walk from Main Street, making walking a good option for anyone who would like to combine their festival experience with a little exercise. Please allow sufficient time for your journey and take care when walking after dark.
Taxi⌄
The Gibraltar Taxi Association offers a pre-booking service and can be contacted on +350 200 70027. A designated taxi drop-off and pick-up zone will be located close to the festival venue. Demand is likely to be high at peak times, so book your taxi in advance wherever possible.
Motorcycles⌄
Motorcycle parking will be available adjacent to the venue. This may be a convenient option for festivalgoers who own or have access to a motorcycle.
Private cars⌄
Car parking near the festival will be extremely limited. Festivalgoers are strongly advised not to travel to the event by private car, either to park near the venue or to drop off and collect passengers. Where possible, please use the festival coach, public bus, taxi service or walk to the venue.

How to get here guide ↘Driving to the festival⌄
Once you arrive in Gibraltar, we strongly recommend that you do not attempt to drive directly to the festival venue at Europa Point.
Instead, park in one of the two recommended car parks and continue your journey to the festival using either the GMF festival coach service or public bus service.

GMF Summer Sessions is an accessible event open to everybody.
Blue badge parking, accessible toilets, lift access, a wheelchair platform, and carer attendance are available where appropriate.

I want to attend the festival but I have special needs – what steps should I take?⌄
GMF Summer Sessions is an accessible event open to everybody.
The festival offers the following facilities:
- Blue badge parking (located approximately 100m from the festival entrance)
- Accessible toilets (indoor and outdoor)
- Indoor main stage with lift access
- Wheel chair platform for the Main Stage
- Attendance of carer where appropriate

What time do the doors open?⌄
Doors open at 17:30 hrs each day.
Where can I find the concert programme and stage times?⌄
Full performance and stage times will be published on this website during the week of the festival.
Where can I see a map of the festival venue?⌄
A full festival venue map, showing the different areas, stages, bars, food outlets, first aid points and other facilities, will be published on this website during the week before the festival.
Who can I contact if I need additional information?⌄
Please check the information available on this website first, as it contains answers to most common questions about the festival. If you still need assistance, please contact us through our social media channels.
Can I leave the festival and re-enter later?⌄
Unfortunately not. Once you have entered the festival venue, re-entry is not permitted if you leave. This restriction is in place for safety, security and licensing reasons.
Are cameras and video equipment permitted?⌄
Professional photographic and video equipment is not permitted unless you have been specifically authorised or accredited to use it. You are welcome to use mobile phones and ordinary personal devices for your own photographs and videos, subject to any instructions given by festival staff.
Can I bring food or drink into the venue?⌄
Unfortunately, outside food and drink cannot be brought into the festival. A range of food and drink will be available to purchase inside the venue.
Are pets permitted?⌄
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted within the festival venue.
What payment methods are accepted at the festival?⌄
We strongly recommend that you are prepared to pay by card throughout the festival. Although cash will be accepted at some locations on site, our ability to process cash is strictly limited and relying on cash may result in delays.
Where can I find medical or first aid assistance?⌄
First aid facilities will be available throughout the festival. The location of the first aid points will be clearly identified on the festival venue map. If you require urgent assistance while at the festival, please speak to a member of festival staff or security.
Can minors attend the festival?⌄
Yes. Minors may attend GMF Summer Sessions with an ordinary festival ticket.
Is there parking at the festival venue?⌄
Vehicle parking at the festival venue is extremely limited, and we strongly recommend that you do not plan to travel to the festival in your own private vehicle. We recommend using either the GMF festival coach service or the Route 2 / N2 public bus service. A very limited amount of festival parking will be available for cars and motorcycles within designated areas — vehicles parked outside these may be clamped and/or towed. There will also be designated drop-off and pick-up areas, and you can travel to and from the festival by taxi.
How do I book festival transport?⌄
Tickets for the dedicated festival coach service can be purchased through BuyTickets.gi. Please see the Getting to the Festival section of this website for full transport information.
Where are lost property items taken?⌄
There will be an Information Point at the festival dealing with lost property, lost children and safeguarding matters, and general festival information. Please refer to the festival venue map for its location.
What items are prohibited from the festival?⌄
A full list of prohibited and restricted items can be found in the terms and conditions applicable to your festival ticket. Please check these before travelling to the festival.
Can I bring a bag into the venue?⌄
Yes. You may bring a small bag for personal belongings. Please avoid bringing large bags, suitcases or other bulky items into the festival. Additional restrictions may apply, so please check your ticket terms and conditions before attending.
Is the festival seated or standing?⌄
Both. You can choose between standing and seated ticket options, depending on availability and which experience works best for you.
Can holders of seated tickets enter the standing area?⌄
Yes. Holders of seated tickets may also access the general standing area.
What do I get with a Gold or Silver Premium ticket?⌄
Gold and Silver Premium ticket holders receive reserved seating with some of the best views in the house, access to the general admission standing area, access to the VIP bar and VIP toilets, dedicated festival entry through the VIP lane, and a VIP wristband.
Where can I buy festival tickets?⌄
Festival tickets can be purchased online through BuyTickets.gi.
Do I need to print my ticket?⌄
No. You can present your electronic ticket on your mobile phone or another suitable device. Please make sure that your ticket barcode is open and ready to scan before you reach the festival entrance.
Can I change my ticket or obtain a refund?⌄
Unfortunately, ticket exchanges and refunds are not available. Please check the date, ticket type and other details carefully before completing your purchase.
Are the concerts indoors?⌄
GMF Summer Sessions has two stages. The Main Stage is indoors, while the festival's second acoustic stage is outdoors.
Where can I find the performance times?⌄
Full performance times will be published on this website during the week before the festival.
Will there be bars and food outlets?⌄
Yes. There will be a range of food and beverage outlets available throughout the festival site. Please refer to the festival venue map for their locations.
What should I do if I have accessibility requirements?⌄
If you have accessibility requirements, please complete the Accessibility Form available on this website. Providing us with information in advance will help the festival team understand your requirements and make appropriate arrangements wherever possible.
